I have in excess of thirty years of experience of preparing independent personal injury reports in
London, the West Country and East Anglia.

In addition, I have over five years' experience of preparing medical negligence reports.

I have both High Court and Crown Court experience as an expert witness and have attended legal
courses regarding the changes associated with personal injury law and on the preparation of medical
negligence reports.

In my medical negligence practice, I give expert opinion both to NHS Trust legal departments but
also to lawyers representing patients who believe they have had a breach in the duty of their client's
care, particularly in association with hip and knee replacement surgery.

I have had significant experience in product liability law cases, particularly metal on metal hip
replacement and hip resurfacing. I have also product liability experience regarding failed
polyethylene acetabular components.

I frequently hold telephone conferences with lawyers and barristers and also attend Chambers for
case discussion.

When working in the West Country, I was a member of several medico-legal societies and helped to
organise lecture courses for lawyers.

I have published articles in medico-legal journals and have lectured on hip replacement surgery at
the AVMA annual conference.

My current waiting list for reports in East Anglia is one to two months and in the West Country, two
to three months.

My medico-legal CV outlines my terms and conditions and it is available on request from my
secretarial staff at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford
